Our commitment

Our goal is to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the technical requirements of Section 508 as a design target. This is a goal, not a certification: we do not claim full conformance, and no third-party audit is claimed.

Accessibility features

• A skip link to the main content and a logical heading structure.
• Menus and controls work with a keyboard; Escape closes open menus.
• Visible focus indicators on links, buttons and form fields.
• Text and interface colors chosen for strong contrast on white.
• Motion is limited, and animation and video autoplay respect the reduced-motion setting.
• Charts and diagrams include a text equivalent.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text; placeholder images are labeled as placeholders.

Known limitations

The embedded Site Intelligence tool includes a map and may not yet match the rest of the site. Some linked source documents are PDFs from other organizations that we do not control.
